Bio
My name is Jesús Diestre, and I compose and release music under the name Muted Symphony. I am based in Zaragoza, Spain. I have a background in classical piano and have developed my musical language through a combination of formal training and practical experience in performance and composition. Over time, my work has become focused on creating original instrumental music. My compositions draw from a range of influences, including classical, ambient, electronic, and minimal music traditions. Rather than fitting into a specific genre, I work with a combination of piano, orchestral elements, and electronic textures, with an emphasis on atmosphere, structure, and emotional coherence. Since 2019, I have independently released multiple albums across digital platforms, each exploring different aspects of my musical approach and evolving creative direction. My work is often shaped by a narrative perspective, where music unfolds as a progression of states and subtle transformations over time. While it can accompany visual media, it is guided by an intention to move beyond familiar conventions, seeking a more personal and evocative presence within the visual space.
