It’s easy to understand why the piano is such a powerful instrument in contemporary classical music: its simple yet emotionally charged progressions evoke deep and universal feelings. In Mirrors , my upcoming solo piano album, I explore this same emotional logic through a series of minimalist pieces that are as introspective as they are evocative.
